About The Musician’s Studio of Red Bank NJ

Bob Grieco has been the owner, manager and head of the faculty at The Musician’s Studio in Red Bank, NJ since 1982. For nine years previous, he was an important member of the faculty and staff at The Guitar Study Center in New York City. He received a bachelor of fine arts degree by attending The Mannes College of Music in New York , the New York University School of Education, and Monmouth University.

Bob was a member of the Monmouth University Music and Theater Arts faculty from 1998 to 2001 and received a department award for outstanding contributions to department efforts in music. Some of his previous students include singer-songwriter Paul Simon, record producer Chip Taylor and top ranked tennis players John McEnroe and Vitas Gerulaitis. His life has been dedicated to teaching music to anyone who has the desire to learn.

Since 1982, The Musician’s Studio has been imitated but never duplicated. It offers instruction on a wide range of instruments for all abilities and age levels and has a free, unique personal evaluation/consultation interview that determines proficiency and helps to sculpt lessons to set goals and maximize success.

Through a fun combination of popular songs and heated discussions about melody, harmony and technique, in addition to founder Bob Grieco’s own Music Theory Workbook, students of all ages and levels are motivated to become passionate, well rounded musicians and performers.

Lessons are available on Guitar, Bass, Voice/Singing, Drums, Piano, Violin, Viola, Mandolin and Ukulele as well as, Songwriting, Music Theory and Ear Training. For almost three decades, it has served as an informal center for counseling musicians and has provided educational opportunity to over 10,000 people.

It will always continue to grow & diversify its teaching procedures to keep up with the ever changing musical styles of the present & the future.
