Beginner guitar students will cover basic chords and strums, coordination exercises, simple flat picking, finger picking, and theory through the context of songs that they specifically want to learn. Special attention is given to correct hand position, posture and overall technique to help avoid bad habits.

The intermediate student is introduced to chord fills and the use of scales and modes. Again, this procedure is accomplished through the context of songs that the student specifically wants to learn in order to demonstrate important concepts.
At the advanced level, chord vocabulary and chord progressions are expanded to encourage improvisation and changing keys, using new modal material beyond the standard rock and blues approach. Note for note analysis of famous recorded solos will be studied.

Private lessons (one on one) are the norm, but Semi-private lessons (such as 2 friends) and group classes (four student limit) for an hour session are also available for those who want to share the learning process with others at a much more affordable cost.
